Like father like son - Share your passion for Porsche with your child. Imagine being a lucky kid whose father bought him his very own first Porsche. One of the best childhood memories was surly driving a correct size little Porsche 911 Cabriolet. The spark in a child’s eye would be the brightest as he hit the clutch then pushed on the gas pedal and felt the 2.5HP petrol engine, the roar of the pint sized exhaust while using a 3 speed shifter for the very first time. These childhood experiences are what solidifies a true Porsche enthusiast from the earliest age. The 2 seater version allows your kid his first chance at picking up girls in his car. Great for kids 6-12 but these are getting to be more of a collectors item so the retain value and appreciate as time goes on.

In the early 1980s Porsche contracted Alpha Technology out of Krakow Poland to build a 1:2 scale kids car they called the Porsche Junior. This was no cheap plastic pedal car, it has a 4 stroke 2.5HP Honda engine in them that went up to 35mph. They were sold through the dealer network in the mid 1980s for 4500DM or $1579 at the time. Only 224 of these were made making it another very rare model authentic Porsche. This one is an even rarer 2 seater version with a shiftable transmission - 2 forward gears and one reverse.
