Schumacher Edition. Also known as the “Bicolore Scagletti” which had special bicolore paint work. The darker part is “Nero Daytona” Upper part is Grigio Alfieri - a metallic dark grey. These modificata models featured Pininfarina designed aluminum and composite bodywork, revised hood and grille inserts, pop up headlights and quadruple exhaust tips. They also included new graphics for the instrumentation, limited slip differential and 17” Five spoke wheels in a special color. Self adjusting shocks and self leveling rear suspension were standard and Ferrari branded 4 piston calipers and cross drilled rotors were added for the Schumacher Edition. 

The interior features Bordeaux Connolly leather interior which is the most striking color combination on this model along with power adjustable seats with memory setting. Automatic climate control, integrated seat belt anchoring, special version HiFi Ferrari branded stereo and a plaque engraved with Michael Schumacher’s Formula 1 world championship years is mounted on the dash.

New tires in summer 2024

No sticky button issue. The leather dash is scheduled for a replacement in Spring after the snow melts. The interior is otherwise perfect. 

The original owner saw the Paris auto show car and called his local dealer Cauley Ferrari Michigan to request one and the same color combination. After the order was made they heard from Ferrari North America that this car and the Paris show care were to be the only 2 made in these colors. The owner took delivery in May of 2003 and this car turned out to be the last 456M GT delivered to his dealer. 

This is the first of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti personalization programme which has become the standard adopted by 90% of Ferrari clientele.
