Fully restored by Vintage Excellence -  last year of the long hood with some great options in a stunning Bahia Red,  a bright red color with an orange tint. An exceptional car for an exceptional person. 

This well optioned factory sunroof coupe has just completed a full restoration and sorting by Vintage Excellence. This is a matching numbers 911E with 2.4L fuel injected engine and 915 5speed transmission. This car was used as a vacation car for the long time previous owner while he was in California. Originally from Missouri, it has been in California for the last 25+ years and has 107,000 original miles since new.  The final year - 1973 - longhood 911s are some of the best driving out of all early 911 cars built as they have the most improvements. This car retains all its original body panels and floor pans, it has never experienced any accidents or major rust damage. A comprehensive restoration has just been completed including a complete paint job, engine rebuild, suspension restoration, and trim restoration. 

The 911E is the middle model with fuel injection and the most torque. What the 911E is known for is more mid range power so it is at home in stop and go traffic or mountain switchbacks, the S is the dominant one on the autobahn where speed is the goal. 

In addition to the high quality restoration this car includes some incredible optional equipment - rare factory Golde sunroof, Genuine Recaro "Sports Seats", full S appearance package which includes all the trim and S would have along with S gauges and a front bumper with integrated spoiler,  Fuchs alloy wheels x5 date matched 1973 wearing desirable Pirelli CN36 period correct tires, genuine Bosch H1 dual bulb headlights, original Blaupunkt USA AM/FM radio, this car has an original "dual mirror" option so both door mirrors are original as they are, and finally a complete original 1973 only tool kit & tire jack, original Owners manual/Maintenance book/Radio manual. Important to note is all the parts are original genuine Porsche parts where possible - we do not like using reproduction or cheap asian made parts. Early 911s of this level of quality are not for sale often.
