This 912 is not for the average person. What if you could go crazy with a 912 when ordering a new one and get all the options you wanted and then some. First you would pick a great color combination and Slate Grey with a Red interior is unbeatable. Then how about an engine that delivered far more than the original 90hp. Of course a wood steering wheel and sports seats would finish the car of nicely. These are the attributes usually only a 911S would have fitted but instead this 912 packs a punch and weighs a couple hundred pounds less too.
Paint: Single Stage Glasurit
Interior: Red leatherette, genuine SWB Recaro Sports Seats with Black/White/Red Pepita inserts. German Square Weave carpeting with full floor rubber mats and center tunnel mat.
Engine: 2100cc 82mmx90mm is a massive improvement to the original 1600cc design. The large stroke adds torque that aids in modern hectic traffic conditions. This engine dynos out at 155hp on Willhoit's dyno. The complete build was done by Willhoit Restoration for this car.
Transmission: 5 speed transmission with limited slip, final drive gear has been increased to being the RPM to a civilized level during freeway driving.
Suspension: Bilstien shocks, 15mm 911 front swaybar, Brembo AM Alloy calipers with Ate 911 rear calipers - vented discs on all 4 wheels.
This car is the ultimate 912 cruiser, it has excellent power where you need it but it is certainly not a race car as it is as easy or easier to drive than a stock 912.
