1965 Porsche 911

First year of the 911 was very interesting, the price was much higher than the 356 predecessor which slowed down sales. People didn't get it yet so it took a while for the cars to move off the dealer floor. We all know what happened in the end - it turns out this is the single most successful model of sports car ever made. This particular car is the first generation 911 with Solex carburetors, a wood steering wheel and dash. 

This car completed assembly on December 21st, 1965.
